In our second episode of Unspoken the Podcast, we continue with our season's theme around societal expectations for women with a deep conversation on women's careers and experiences working in STEM.
Our moderator, Lydia, is joined by two special guests: Winky Yau, a first-year Masters student at the University of Toronto and Manager, Medical Affairs at Lung Cancer Canada; and Dr. Edyta Marcon, Program Director of the Translational Research Program and Assistant Professor, University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine.
They provide insights into their experiences growing up and how they got to their current roles, the impacts of work on mental and physical health, experiences with burnout and unique pressures they faced as women.

In our very first episode of Unspoken the Podcast, we start off our season's theme around societal expectations for women on a very real and important conversation about body image and our experiences navigating these pressures across the lifespan. Our host, TJ, is joined by three very special guests: Kaya Walia, a first-year Masters student at the University of Toronto; Margaret Keatings, a retired Chief Nurse Executive at SickKids Hospital; and Dr. Eyitope Roberts, a family physician and lecturer at the University of Calgary. They all provide insights into their own experiences with body image and the proessures they faced as women throughout the years, and Dr. Roberts provides her expertise from the scientific perspective.
